Marin #nofilterbananasplitbock now available

Marin nofilterbananasplitbock BeerPulse
Larkspur, CA – It was inevitable, a beer taking its name in the form of a hashtag, but #nofilterbananasplitbock, aka, Hashtag No Filter Banana Split Bock comes with a brilliant backstory. Brewed at Marin Brewing Company in collaboration with Shane Aldrich of Oakland United Brewing Company, a former Marin brewer, #nofilterbananasplitbock is the result of what happens when a couple of old school brewers get together over beers at the Great American Beer Festival and plan a collaboration. Johnson and Aldrich both agreed that beer is their favorite dessert, and neither of them like sweet beer much. “So it ain’t sweet, it tastes like beer, and the flavor additions are subtle!” said Johnson. “German Weizen Yeast gives us banana esters. Reubens Brews Bits and Bobs IPA BeerPulse
Seattle brewery’s new 2018 spring seasonal uses “bits and pieces” to create an IPA that will be reimagined each year (Seattle, WA) – Reuben’s Brews has just added a new spring seasonal to its lineup. “Bits and Bobs” IPA will be available from January through April in cans, draft and bottles. Each spring, the beer will feature a new recipe, taking everything the brewery learned throughout the year to create a brand-new brew. For 2018, Bits and Bobs was brewed with Strata (originally X331), Azacca and Citra hops, alongside a predominantly pale malt bill with a touch of Vienna malt to provide balance. Adam Robbings, co-founder and brewmaster for Reuben’s Brews, said, “This beer is a reflection on our experiences of the prior year, such as our experimentation with different malts, hops and new processes to brew an IPA. Bits and Bobs allows us to brew something different every year,...
